Accurate Projection Methods for the Incompressible Navier-Stokes
Equations
David Brown, Ricardo Cortez, Michael Minion
This work involves the accuracy of a certain class
of pressure-increment projection methods.
In particular, the relationship between
boundary conditions for intermediate variables and
the accuracy of the computed pressure near solid
wall boundaries is explained. Modifications to
widely used projection methods which result in
fully second-order accurate pressure values are
presented. A preprint describing this work is available
