This historic and prestigious hotel sits on the site upon which once stood the "Chapel" for which Chapel Hill is named. This is the most convenient lodging, at about a 2 minute walk from the mathematics department. Expensive.

Located right along the 15-501 approach to campus, this motel provides a
good value. Moderately priced.
The Holiday Inn

An excellent choice. At last check, rooms came with a free breakfast buffet every morning. Close to campus by car and within walking distance of upscale restaurants and shopping. Reasonably priced.

A step up from the Holiday Inn to be sure. Very nice restaurants. Not far from the Holiday Inn (above). Expensive. (Possibly some seasonal variations in price? Call.)

A nice motel on the quiet south side of town. Near campus. Price is moderate.
